PROJECT DETAIL

This project presents an innovative approach to creating a versatile garden room that can serve multiple purposes, including a studio, workshop, kids' play den, or guest bedroom. The use of a steel frame structure allows for a wide spanning cold roof design, which not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also maximises internal ceiling heights, creating a spacious and airy environment.

Incorporating sustainable materials is key. The choice of FSC certified timber products ensures that the materials used are sourced responsibly, contributing to environmental conservation. The OSB interior provides a practical and cost-effective solution, while the British Larch exterior facade cladding offers durability and a natural aesthetic that blends well with outdoor settings. Additionally, the engineered oak flooring adds a touch of elegance and warmth to the interior space.

We decided to convert our conservatory into an extension and open plan kitchen for extra space. Charles was able to help with the planning, design and advice on materials etc on the conversion, and kept in touch with by phone calls and visits to make sure the work was carried out and completed to a good specification. We are very happy to recommend him for any architectural projects.
